TCU is ranked of 130:

#32 in Total Defense
#41 in Scoring Defense
#40 in Total Offense
#28 in Scoring Offense

#71 for Shawn Robinson in Completion Percentage, 60.7%, bottom half of the Big XII.
#120 in Turnover Efficiency <--- Yikes
#111 in Net Punting <--- This is also killing our defense.

Tied for #78 kicker for Cole Bunce, I didn't see Jonathan Song on this list yet. Maybe not enough attempts.

One wonders where these numbers would be if we had not started with games against Southern and SMU. We have a lot of work to do this week at practice Frogs and it will be good to be back in the Carter next weekend.

If I could pick two things to magically make better this week at practice that I think is doable is #1 tackling. No more arm tackles and no more bouncing off runners. #2 run blocking by the offensive line AND by the wide receivers downfield. Ty Slanina was the king of great downfield run blocking and that production has dropped significantly this season. Turpin tries hard, but the dude is like 5'8" and 159 lbs. If Jalen Austin is a lifting champ, then run the ball to his side every time.

Pretty much everyone else started with some version of Southern and SMU too.

Still no offers out to kickers and punters, maybe their strategy regarding kicking game needs to change, big time elite programs don’t rely on walk ons

Our special teams has sucked complete ass. Averaged something like 33 yards per punt against UT. That is just straight up pathetic and is crippling from a field position point of view. Add in 4 moronic turnovers, and it's honestly miraculous we didn't lose by much, much more.

Maniac, hard to make much of a change until our off week but this week we should go hard on tackling technique and offensive run blocking. Would expect some changes coming after Iowa St. We have 3 good RB's that can go, why not change up some formations and run some plays with split backs, and quit passing so much where we get the turnovers.
