Black helmet is a nice contrast from UT's white helmet (guessing it helps the QBs downfield vision?), and we've played well down there in that lid. Other than that, the solid whites are good road look.

EDIT: Black lids two years in a row vs Texas. Darius Anderson certainly likes playing vs wHorn in them...

First play is basically the same play as he scored on vs tOSU. And everyone underestimated his speed and took bad angles both times.

This was probably posted a few years ago, but I just saw it for the first time. Pretty cool segment and interesting explanation on why some of the helmets are $1000/ea. It also seems to really emphasize the benefits of being partnered with Nike.

Oh, and they also mentioned that Gary is the sole voice on which uniform the squad goes with. He sometimes takes captains' input, but usually just goes with superstition. So, at least he and Maniac can agree on that...
