FORT WORTH – TCU will get a taste of Top-25 opponents this weekend when it heads to Los Angeles for the Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic. The Horned Frogs will square off against USC on Friday night, followed by No. 11 UCLA Saturday before concluding the weekend at Dodger Stadium against No. 15 Vanderbilt.

TCU NOTABLES
• TCU made it 3-for-3 in series victories with a 2-1 series win over UC Irvine this past weekend.
• Head coach Jim Schlossnagle collected his 700th career win on Tuesday night.
• On Friday, TCU won for the second time this season when trailing after eight. It’s the first time since 2016 the Frogs have posted at least two such wins.
• TCU ranks fifth in the Big 12 in batting average (.279), third in ERA (3.07) and fourth in fielding percentage (.974).
• The TCU pitching staff has issued the second-fewest walks (31) in the Big 12 this season, averaging just 2.80 per nine innings.
• Josh Watson’s .462 batting average is third in the Big 12. He has hit safely in all 11 games this year and has tallied seven multi-hit games.
• Watson homered from both sides of the plate in Tuesday’s win, giving him four home runs on the year.

SERIES NOTABLES
• Friday’s meeting against USC will be the ninth in the all-time series.
• The series is tied 4-4 heading into Friday’s game.
• The Frogs traveled to Dedeaux Field in 2013 and took 2-of-3 from the Trojans May 2-4 before dropping a 7-6 extra 12-inning decision on March 6, 2015.
