Cross-town baseball series resumes between TCU and UT Arlington

TCU and UT Arlington play the first of three games at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at UTA's Clay Gould Ballpark.

The team's first meeting last week was postponed because of rain. A make-up date will be announced soon.

A couple of freshmen pitchers will make their first starts. TCU left-hander Russell Smith faces UTA right-hander David Moffat.

Russell Smith reunites tonight with his old battery mate from Midlothian, Zach Humphreys. Saw Smith pitch last season in the playoffs against TCU verbal commit Jacob Meador from Burleson Centennial. Smith is 6-9 and can bring it.
