Apparently his first mission is to replace the Erwin Center

So Dodds says CDC embellished the Big 12 membership story.

Won't attend hopefully, it's about TCU and winning the Bowl game...not him. Stay home. Will he show up at the bowl game wearing a burnt orange tie?
He’s not coach Cash. Will he show up at the bowl game wearing a burnt orange tie?
CDC might not even be in Austin at U of Texas at that time. {Future realignment}And it isn’t just TCU people posting on this board that feel this way.
Gary provided CDC the avenue to build what TCU athletics is today.
CDC left it in great shape, quite possible the best it has ever been. He left the tools to win a national championship in the 3 major men’s sports.(he extended Patterson before leaving)
It’s far from the end of the world. Stay calm.

I’m testing that theoryThere isn't enough brown water to make Bakers face not punchable.
Please report back.I’m testing that theory
Still extremely punchable after 5 beers and 6 whiskeysPlease report back.
My initial reports are suggesting the opposite. The greater the amount of brown water consumed, the more punchable he becomes.
You are almost halfway there.Still extremely punchable after 5 beers and 6 whiskeys
He left TCU poised for decades of success and I always thought he might eventually leave just hoped it wouldnt be a conference instate rival. I'm sure he'll be wildly successful there as well.
A bit naïve I think. I suspect this hire was to do the opposite.Having a strong TCU advocate in Austin is going to be valuable during the next round of conference alignment .
Kind of feel like the realignment talk is something of the past. Has TCU not built its brand/programs to the point we kind of have to be included in whatever 'realignment' might take place in 6-7 years? No idea, just seems like when you're competing for conference championships and playoffs fairly regularly, you'd be included to help elevate the quality of the product. TCU has proven it can do that.
He was a very good AD, but in reality, he also came into a very good situation, just at the right time.I like CDC, but better him than our any of our big 3 sport coaches...
Yeah, I was gonna say... leave TCU out of a big conference with our success over the past multiple years in FB and baseball, and with probable upcoming success in basketball? Sure we want to position ourselves for the realignment, but hey, just keep winning!!! CDC had a dream job at TCU. Good luck to him at UT. I don't understand why anyone would want to work in that political morass.
GO FROGS!! BEAT STANFORD!!!

But haven’t we known that Baker was gonna win the Heisman for about a month now? Since he beat TCU the first time it was pretty much inevitable. And CDC going to Texas sucks but mostly just because he went to Texas. TCU is in a great place. And as I said earlier if he doesn’t want to be here then we really don’t want himTough day, lost Del Conte and BM wins the Heisman.
