And we wouldn’t go yell at Matt Rhule. We don’t hate Matt Rhule. In fact he’s a perfectly likable guy, unlike Briles.

There may be some people that jump off the bandwagon after a season like this (which would happen anywhere), but the true Baylor fans will stick with their team just like TCU fans did back in the dark days.

I hate Baylor with a furious passion, but the people that show up to The Carter aren’t actually rapists. I know this, and so do the rest of us. And they’re people, like the rest of us.

I encourage everyone to take the high road when dealing with Baylor fans personally.

They’ve received their punishment and it’s better than anything else they could have gotten.

LOL, the only people who would want to get in CMR's face are the lower-tier Sic'Em365 members - the things they say about him are pretty low-class.

This guy can't still believe that the photo of (Orr?) 'getting in Briles's face' was real - or can he? Video evidence clearly debunked that shortly after the accusation came up.

I agree with your entire post, but may have one slight caveat on this part. I believe this punishment is real and well deserved, but I don't believe this should be all of it and I don't believe the current state of affairs for Baylor Football should be better than any additional punishment. I believe additional punishment should include arrests of a large portion of their admin still left there (Bethany McCraw should be the first), a shut down of football for 4 years, and a substantial purge of athletics department personnel who are still left from the prior corrupt regime under McCaw and his minions.

For me, that would be just and far better restitution than a 1 win season.

I hope Rhule cleans that place up. While I do not think they have gotten the punishment they deserve as a program (loss of scholarships at an appropriate number, 5 year bowl ban, all after a year ban from football, I do hope Rhule is clean and builds that program up the right way.

I have said it before and say it now, those regents who canned briles did the right thing. Now they are getting attacked by their own, which is just messed up ship.

So let's hope it is folks like those regents, and not the briles supporters, who come to the game.
