Hill would be a Heisman candidate

almost anywhere else.

Multiple WR drops and our C screw-ups are ridiculous. Hill has been quite accurate and poised against this Arkansas D.

No he wouldn't. He's good for at least one turnover a game. I'm not saying today's interception was all on him, because it wasn't, but it's about 50/50. If he throws it earlier the receiver is wide open. He threw into triple coverage. At the same time, the announcers were right that the receiver didn't run the route correctly. Hill isn't bad but as a fifth year senior you can tell the coaches don't have the most confidence in him. Flame suit on.

Yeah that Center fumble and the Reagor dropped touchdown were terrible, but Hill underthrew and missed badly a lot today. Examples near the end of the second he threw off his back foot out fit and missed Reagor who would have all the way for a touchdown. Hill followed it up by throwing the ball right in to the hands of a Arkansas defender who dropped it. And at the end of the game that pass interference against Diarse should have been an easy touchdown, but the ball was way underthrown.

The deep ball is now completely non-existent in our offense.

Running game and defense won us this game.

Heisman....no. Ready for SR..yes. Staff dialed down the play calling in the second half..took no risk in the passing game, this team can run the ball.

Nah. Hill's a good running QB, but today he missed open receivers on passes more then 10 yards downfield. Hoping he begins to look Heisman-caliber (b/c with this running game and defense, we'd be unstoppable), but he isn't right now. Not close.

2 series into his first start and he'd have a questionable int and a couple bad reads and this board would turn on him too. Kenny played just fine.

No the board would say "true freshman quarterback making freshman mistakes. Hopefully he improves soon." The board may not be happy, but I guarantee the reaction would be different than it is for the 5th year season.

No way...Kids just not a passer with or without the drops.

Edit...He still a hell of an athlete and we will have a nice season with him at QB...He doesn't have to be heisman good for us to contend.. We need to continue to get him involved in the running game.

If you want to see a Heisman candidate, tune in to the OU/tOSU game

Barrett has tossed up more pick balls than Hill. Easily.

Hill is near 100% accurate on short passes. The 1 pick Hill threw was more the fault of the WR. He could be better on deep passes, but we have 0 WR's that can high point the ball. Unless Hill throws a perfect ball, we don't have a WR talented enough to make a big deep play.
