IIRC, the frogs also beat Vandy in the regular season a couple years ago when they won it all and eliminated the frogs in the post season.
There is that.
Proud of the team for fighting to get this far. But this scheissing sucks. Year after year we just can't quite climb the mountain. Starting to feel like it's not gonna happen. This was the team to do it. Everything was set up for this year, and we still couldn't do it. We should be very good on the mound next year, but we have to replace nearly every position player.

It comes down to this: If you want to be national champions you have to be able find a way to eek out a few runs against elite pitchers.
TCU had a great season, especially considering the loss of Luken Baker. But 0 runs in two games against Feado means you don't deserve to be national champions. Sorry.

And game lasted just under 3 hours. One of the few times I wished it was longer

Terrific year. Amazing they swept through to Omaha and made it to the final 4 without LB out there. Pretty gritty performance against some really good teams. Just glad we were able to send A&M home. 11-10 now after 5 trips to Omaha.

Third-ever 50-win season.
Should have a final ranking of #4 (1/2 UF/LSU, 3 OSU, 4 TCU, 5 UL, 6 FSU).
TCU will eventually break through. Schloss is young and has near unlimited energy and resources. What a fun run the last 4 years have been. Hope to make it 5 straight trips to Omaha next year.

1. We can't hit, at all.
2. Skoug reading own post season press, trying to go yard every AB
3. Did you see those BA stats each time a TCU batter stepped in? 1-13, 2-14, 1-15 on and on.
4. Batting coach needs to address it in post season, publicly, if not by Monday.
E. Really could have done without Wanhanananananan being our lest AB. I would have pinched hit just to avoid that being my last vision for next 300+ days.
