This isn't true, and they make fun of us for thinking this way. Texas does not care about us at all. At all
. . . unless TCU wins. Then they care a lot. A lot.

Wasn't like he wasn't fired without cause. We fired him
The obsession with everything he does is beyond dumb
Cornell University is Ivy League. He's going to Cornell?
Wasn't like he wasn't fired without cause.
Once he decided he was bulletproof and could do no wrong his days were numbered.
UT people like to act like they don’t care about anyone. I laugh my ass off when UT people tell me A&M isn’t really a rivalry for them. This isn't true, and they make fun of us for thinking this way. Texas does not care about us at all. At all
I would love for him to land a HC job with one of our rivals. I can’t think of one rival we have that would do anything but get worse if they hired GP.Obviously. He has 4 lousy years in a row and gets fired. Everyone feels bad for him. Then he takes an analyst job for basically nothing money with our biggest rival. And revels in it.
If he was so great then he would have received a head coaching offer right away, or at least a DC job with a big program.
I hope he lands a HC job (if he wants one). Just not around here with a big rival.

Patterson was NOT fired "for cause". Not winning enough is not "for cause". Not winning and not articulating an acceptable way to get to winning may be a damn good reason a coach is fired. Being fired over "cause" means something really bad, and that's not Patterson's situation.
Coaches like Jerry Sandusky and Art Briles are fired "for cause" (or their institutions try to, to avoid contract buy-outs). I don't think there was ever any question that Patterson would be paid his buy-out, or that he deserved it under the contract he signed with TCU.
It looks like Nebraska's lustful gaze has fallen elsewhere . . .
Yes Nebraska, this is Matt Campbell returning your call!
Cornell University is Ivy League.
There's no way those folks would put up with his double talk, saying nothing when asked a question. "Gary Speak" was one of the languages at the Tower of Babel!
This thread is why I spend way more time on other sites now. People still fight there, but it is like 10-1 the amount of silly fighting on this site compared to others. This is more like a social club, the others are way more TCU centric.this thread is stupid

It’s the NBA-ization of college football. The games don’t matter all that much, it’s all about off the field stuff, money/contract buyouts, and who is going where speculation.which means all season long campbell and iowa state get to deal with the is he or isn't he gone question
