the easy joke and answer is not well, but i really do think how some of the players on the frogs roster transition into the new defensive alignment is going to be key next season
yes, there will be challenges on the offensive side, but with the transfer in of ali and the potential to slide avila to guard goes a long way to stabilizing the frogs interior offensive line and i do think there is potential talent in the offensive line. there are questions still ,but not like the defense
gillespie seemed to prefer 3 bigger defensive linemen who played down, but shifted around some and at least one of the linebackers was a big bigger from what i could tell, but for those who have a much better understanding please correct me
starting in the defensive line if cooper does in fact return does anyone see him dropping a bit of weight and playing a 5 technique out over an offensive tackle instead of playing inside?
don't see ellis or misi being able to play on the edge more and have no idea about sorrells. anyone with thoughts?
defensive end is going to be interesting to me as i just don't see coleman at 225-230 playing down over an offensive tackle so do we seem him play upright as that bigger linebacker? if horton is back do we see him drop a bit of weight and move back out to olb as he played at new mexico?
then we come to colt and ochaun. i just don't see colt having the ability to play upright so does he get a bit bigger? what about mathis? i really do think ochaun is a guy who got asked to do more than he is capable playing upright and back and off the line like he has the past few years. do we see him get a bit bigger and play down all the time?
at linebacker do we see banks play that bigger position? do think it will be interesting to watch the linebacker develop because i do think this is another position that has more potential physical talent than production. do we see someone like winters drop a bit of weight and play in the field more or even in the back 5?
thoughts on the safety rotation as well?
thanks for thoughts ahead of time
