HOW IT HAPPENED:
Set 1 (TCU, 25-22): The Horned Frogs started the spring with a strong presence at the net, collecting an early block from Clark and Nalls to put the Frogs in front, 5-1, early. TCU attacked the middle of the court throughout the set, maintaining its lead and eventually winning the set, 25-22. Nichols had a tremendous set distributing the ball, getting the hitters involved early resulting in four Horned Frogs collecting three or more kills. Myers led the team with four kills on six swings. Clark, Audrey Nalls and Adams each posted three kills as well.

Set 2 (TAR, 26-24): TCU battled to a 24-22 lead thanks to seven kills from Adams but Tarleton managed to go on a 4-0 run to end the set and tie the match. Adams was balanced in her attack, using a variety of tips and hard, down-line swings to pace the Frog attack.

Set 3 (TAR, 25-20): The Frogs took advantage of some early errors from the Texans to jump in front, 7-1. The lead held firm to 12-7, before a lengthy run from Tarleton reversed the score line to 14-20. A pair of kills from Adams helped TCU fight off two set points, but the Texans emerged with the set.

Set 4 (TAR, 25-20): Myers and Adams helped TCU take the early lead once more, 8-5. But Tarleton got the bounces it needed to go on another run and eventually take the set by five points.
