Hi-hat Longe at TCU/ Berry had Charlie Davis (TCU and Cardinals D-Line) and his brother Don Davis tend bar and bounce.

Not many drunk altercations would get out of hand when either would come up and place a firm hand on your shoulder.

Alec Pittman (coach Pittman’s son and former Bama LB) was also a bouncer there in the early 70s. One night two Japanese ( I think) students were ....faced and wouldn’t leave at closing. Alec had to escort (drag) them up the stairs to the sidewalk. Almost before he got back down he heard a scream, turned and saw one of him flying from the landing trying to do his best Bruce Lee. As I recall Alec took a foot to the chest and this little guy just bounced off to the floor. I think he scampered back up the stairs before Alec could react. He may have also had a big screw driver (tool, not beverage), but things get foggy over time.
