Fortunately he can afford it. He was/is an accountant. Had a client tell him the owner of said clients company was going to close the doors on his oil field parts manufacturing company. Accountant called the owner up and bought the company for next to nothing. When I say next to nothing I mean for about the price of a new tricked out pickup. The secret sauce was that the company has a patent on a fitting vital to oil well fracking. About 2 years after of the purchase of this company the oil business exploded. He went from being an average working stiff to being worth high 8 figures in less than 10 years. If you could see this dude you'd never guess it in a million years. He basically won the lottery.
