Since Neal Brown was hired to replace Holgy they have had 9 players transfer out including 4 projected starters..

He’s a tough smart coach but that’s tough to overcome early...
Most of the transfers were not impact players.Simms-WR,Robinson-DB and Pitts-DB were impact players. There is a thing called "code of conduct" which forced these players to enter the transfer portal.Pitts says that wasn't the case with him.EJ Brown another DB who could have received playing time also comes under this forced transfer situation.Once the code of conduct came into play, the AD and Coach Brown had no control over the issue.Safety was a strong position prior to these dismissals but now not so much.

Sounds like WVU has the correct priorities (referencing the code of conduct).

They made a good hire with Neal Brown, they’ll be down for a few years but respectable soon.

On the other hand, not worried about K-State as a tough game anytime in the near future

I feel like the league added some very solid coaches this off season...Doesn’t mean it will translate to wins but eveyone added has been consistent winners at all their stops. I think the conference is going to remain a tough slate. Having said that QB play, great recruiting, and reinvestment will continue to determine whose going to contend.

If we are going to get over this current hump, we will have to either recruit our way to better play or play our way to better recruiting.

Had forgotten who they hired, had to google it. I always root for the guys making the division jump but it’ll be tough. We’ll see what happens.
