WTKR: Redskins receiver Josh Doctson questionable for Sunday’s game at Rams

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – After playing only 20 snaps vs. Philadelphia in the Redskins season opener last Sunday, receiver Josh Doctson is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams in Los Angeles.

“We’ll have a better sense tomorrow after the flight,” Washington head coach Jay Gruden explained Friday. “We have a little practice tomorrow [at] UCLA and we’ll check him out then.”

Doctson and Verett both can't seem to stay healthy enough tp play much. Hope both can get healed up and see some meaningful action this season.

Really hate to see this. He's one of my all time favorite frogs. From Bleacher Creature to All American. I'd love to see if he can make it in the NFL. These little mini-injuries are baffling. He never had them at TCU.

Just wild speculation but I think there's a story here that won't be told until Doctson is on his 2nd team.

He was fine in practice making good cuts.

Takes more then just talent and hard work to have a good NFL career. Need some luck too. He hasn't had much of that yet in his brief time with the Skins. Hope he can manage to find away to get on the field and stay on the field...

Hope he gets better soon because the Redskin fans are starting to turn on him and calling him a bust already.

Last year was okay because they had plenty of good receivers but this season they really need him to step up.

Unusual arrangement my dentist has b/c he has a practice in Ft. Worth and Prosper. He is the dentist for Josh's mom and grandmother. Obviously they talk a lot b/c they have become such good friends. So mom says Josh is in the training room sometimes 8/10 hours a day getting stronger. Last week Josh hired an acupuncture specialist and it appears to have helped. Grunden believes Josh could be a top five NFL wr if they could get him over the hump. We already know this of course, but my doc sings the praises of the Doctson family. We hope the best for them, all of them!

Just info about this Dentist. Three tours as a trauma specialist for jaw, teeth overseas. He has enough medals for his service to make you lean sideways. If he says the Doctson are first rate you know it comes from a person wh is first rate himself.
