Am I correct that an OU win and OSU loss means OU has locked up the Big 12 champ berth and the last spot goes to TCU if we beat BU or ISU loses to KSU? And the only other team in contention is ISU, and they have to beats KSU and have us lose to BU?

Edit: isn’t there a scenario where we lose to BU, ISU beats KSU, and UT beats Tech and TCU, UT, ISU are all at 6-3 and 1-1 Against each other and we still get in on point differential? Or no?

Someone may have answered this, but I believe the only way we miss out is if ISU wins and WV, UT, OSU and TCU lose.

edit: Wait, on second thought, I think any 3-way tie involving us and ISU would be won by ISU, except if the 3rd team is WV, who would win in that scenario. I believe any combination of teams in that scenario would result in each team being 1-1 against the others, and ISU would advance because they beat the best non-tied team (OU), except if WV is in there, they would’ve beaten OU too, so they’d advance on H2H over ISU.

Any 4-way or 5-way tie and we would win based on best record among the tied teams against the others. Only OSU could match our 1 loss, and we’d advance over them on H2H.

Watching halftime highlights on ESPN2 - Aggie Ole Miss game. Get to TCU highlights and the announcer says "TCU with the best defense in the Big12. Is that like saying you have the best house in a horrible neighborhood?!?" They all laugh.

Tenn/LSU starting the 2nd half in a tropical storm. Tenn couldn't see the kickoff and it landed and rolled inside the 5 before it was recovered. Brutal way to start the half. The worst of the weather will pass soon and LSU will have field position advantage.

In postgame coverage of our game Robert Smith spoke well of our D and GP. Offered the stat that since defense stats started in the 30s Alabama leads the nation with 6 seasons leading the nation in total defense. In the last 17 years GP has done it 5 times at TCU. He said for us to be this good in the B12 with these offenses may mean this D is better than some of those 5.

Holy Ship!
The qb up at University of North Texas is incredible. Incredible arm and accuracy, speed and vision. They look great on offense. They have some hungry rcvrs. Defense is not so hot. Great year for them. Obviously better than they were expecting.

But that soph qb. Wow.

Pretty cool story on him too if you google and check it out. Apparently blew away Oklahoma state records but no one wanted him because of his size. Went to University of North Texas and looks a gamer.

Kid has guts. Humble. Sharp. They played soft on the corners tonight and he made them pay for it.
