#24 Toledo hosting NIU right now.  NIU hanging in there close, but they've lost their QB and best WR during the game.  Game on ESPN2.  Toledo looking to end 5-game losing streak to NIU.

Toledo up 17-16 at half.  Notable: Toledo was playing Stanky Leg during a kickoff buildup and a T-Swift mix during late first half timeouts.

NIU (5-2) just took a 32-27 lead at #24 Toledo. 1:59 left.

EDIT: NIU picked off Toledo on the first play of Toledo's drive. Toledo stopped the clock with their last TO at 1:03 with NIU 3rd and 6 from Toledo's 17.

And it's final. NIU knocks off #24 Toledo, effectively knocking the MAC out of NY6 contention. Very difficult to see the G5 NY6 bid going to anyone other than the AAC Champ (Navy, Temple, Memphis or Houston).

And November's first college football game takes out an undefeated team ranked 24th in the CFP rankings that were produced just a few hours earlier.

Historically this month takes the college football universe and acts like its a 4 year old playing with a snow globe for the first time. All these CFP threads are pointless. No use to try and predict 5 weeks of grinding conference match ups.

Beat the Pokes.

Wow Toledo's gone. That's what, the 6th time in a row they've lost to NIU? I really thought this was the year.

Tommy Lee Lewis made some amazing catches.

NIU and Toledo looked like they were playing in slow motion compared to top teams.  How Toledo failed to beat NIU with their star WR and starting QB out is incredible.

Hope there are no electrical outages.  The lineup for games tonight is pretty good, for a Thursday.

If you aren't paying attention to these storms in Tarrant and surrounding counties (North especially) - you should do it.
