Four KU women’s basketball players reach double figures in 86-77 win over TCU

LAWRENCE — Brandon Schneider waited 74 games for an offensive performance like this.

Schneider, the third-year Kansas women’s basketball coach, witnessed a wire-to-wire effort from his Jayhawks in an 86-77 victory over TCU on Sunday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse. KU (10-3, 1-1 Big 12) shot 49.2 percent from the field and made 6 of 11 3-point attempts, winning a regular-season conference game for only the third time since Schneider arrived.

“I thought we played as connected offensively today as we have since I’ve been here,” Schneider said.
