I just want to point out that those of you correlating a uniform to performance resulted in me liking one of Bob's posts.

First there was "Bob is right" from the Irma thread and now this. I guess I need to start fighting someone on the ice because hell must have frozen.

SMU: Up 6-3 at the end of the half. Ended up pulling away in the second half.
WVU: Beat up and destroyed
Baylor: An actual good win! Killed them.
Georgia: Blew 4th quarter lead, lost bowl game.

That's not a great track record.

Weren't we wearing all white in Norman when we destroyed OU in 2005? Time for this uniform to start a new tradition!

Negative, purple helmets for that one.

To the best of my knowledge we didn't use a white helmet for a long time before 2014 (though then 2010 Pro Combats were a light grey so maybe that counts).

Just looked it up, this is the past 3 year history of the stormtroopers:
2014:
WVU: Played like poop against a good, but not great, team. Won on last second field goal.
Kansas: Needed a 10 point comeback against one of the worst teams in the country

2015:
Minnesota: Won by 6 against a team that ended the regular season 5-7.
Oklahoma State: Destroyed, ended undefeated season, Doctson lost for the year.
Oklahoma: Well on our way to getting destroyed before Mayfield goes down. Lost on 2 point conversion

2017:

That was my favorite look too, but superstition buried those unis in the bottom of the basemen 12 years ago after one loss to SMU.

2014:
WVU: second toughest road game we played all year (and I heard boykin got smashed the night before)
Kansas: we have played poorly against them 5 times in a row now

2015:
Minnesota: we also had 4 other wins that year by 7 points or less
Oklahoma State: we always get blown out in stillwater
Oklahoma: OU was a top 4 team who made the playoff and we were playing them on the road

2016:
SMU: rivalry game, still won by 30
WVU: we were not good and lost 2 other games just as badly
Baylor: Smoked their rapey butts
Georgia: this one may have been because of the uniforms
