Pac 12 didn't have enough teams...so who were the better options Boise?

Big 12 and PAC 12 will continue to have issues filling bowl games because they play 9 conference games as opposed to the 8 played by the SEC & ACC. Big Ten plays 9 also but has enough zombie bottom feeders to pad the conference schedule. Mid range teams playing 9 conference games almost need to go 3-0 in the non-conference to get a bowl at 6-6.

Saw Boise play exactly 3.5 games this season prior to the bowl game. They lost two of them and won the others by one and five points. Did not see their win over WSU but was very unimpressed with this season's squad.
