If they were smart they would just have someone research "Tommy" and/or "Tuberville" against every confederate named soldier in the history books to see if they can find a match. I would also search that against every associated confederate owned horse/dog name they could find as well. Then they call ESPN racists and he gone. Has worked as a scape goat for everyone else that doesn't like something lately...

Now that is REALLY funny.......not to pile on but I went to USAF pilot training there, when the day came when I was flying B52 in Grand Forks, they told me I was going back to be T 38 IP, they said "Hey you went to UPT at Reese, want to go back?" I quickly said NO WAY, the ONLY difference in Lubbock and Grand Forks is the color of the dirt!!!!
Realize TCU has many good people from Lubbock.....I think, I just cant live there.......again!!!! I totally understand when people also explain in vivid terms why they would never live in Baton Rouge by my old school, neither would I!!!!!

This is really stupid. Creating a petition to stop him just makes Tech look whiny and draws negative attention to the fans.
I don't really have all that much against Tuberville. His boss told him to win more games or he was getting fired, so the very next day he took a guaranteed 5 year paycheck to another program.
He made the wise financial decision for his family because he was definitely getting fired the next season.
Texas Tech brought in the best offensive mind in the game and someone who actually wants to be there. Win/Win for both sides.
