Maculoso's, Campisi's or Mama Mia's are usually our go-tos. Heard many good things about Giovanni's but have never been.

Ended up at Olivella's on Camp Bowie. Scrong to quite scrong.

I had the same issue. Slowly removed a pillow every few weeks and just put them random places throughout the house. Ended up with two and no mention of it.

Sardines was greatness, even after it moved to University, but especially before. Italian Inn was decent. I liked the one on East Lancaster more. My favorite Italian now is Oliva's on Beach, way north. Those little family places are usually the Brilesboobs. Italliani's in Hurst is really good, too, but they know it.

Sardines was solid. I recall taking dates there and ended up meeting other couples because they sat everyone together. Made lots of friends at that place. Now everyone just stares at their phone when they go out.

Sardine's was a solid date night for a broke Peace and his gf during college.

Very high success rate with the 7th Street Theater/Sardine's combo. Casa Manana followed by Sardine's was a lock.
