GoFrogs: Horned Frogs Announce Additional TV Matches
FORT WORTH, Texas – In partnership with TCU’s third-tier television package, four TCU volleyball matches have been selected to be televised. All four matches will air on FOX Sports Southwest Plus and take place in The Rickel inside the University Recreation Center.
Along with the three nationally televised matches on ESPNU, ESPN2 and FSN that the Horned Frogs are slated to compete in, TCU will be making a total of seven appearance on television this season.
“We are looking forward to televising a few more Big 12 matches, as well as our match-up with Duke,” Director of Volleyball Jill Kramersaid. “In addition to our ESPN and FSN matches this season, it’s nice to round out our home TV lineup. The more matches we can provide to our Horned Frogs fans outside of the DFW Metroplex, the better.”
The first television match TCU is scheduled for is against Duke on Friday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m., in the team’s first match of the Fight in the Fort tournament. To kick-off Big 12 play at home, the Frogs will welcome Baylor on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m., on FSSW+.
One match in October and one in November will wrap-up the television appearances for TCU starting with Oklahoma at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 18. The final match will take place exactly a month later and will be against Iowa State on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
Season tickets for the TCU volleyball season are on sale. Adult season tickets are $75, youth season tickets are $50 and a Family 4-pack of season tickets can be purchased for $240. Single game tickets are also available, with fans able to purchase adult tickets for $10, youth tickets for $5 and $3 tickets for groups of 20 or more. All tickets to the home matches against Baylor (Sept. 23) and Texas (Oct. 8) will be $10 and no group tickets will be available.
