FOX Sports Southwest KTCU 88.7 FM Live Stats Game Notes Twitter

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU women's basketball team looks to snap its current skid when Iowa State visits Schollmaier Arena for a 6:30 p.m. contest on Wednesday.

TCU (16-8, 7-6) has lost its last three games, all against ranked teams, most recently falling at No. 3 Baylor on Saturday. Iowa State (10-14, 4-9) is coming off of a home loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday.

The Frogs and Cyclones played just two weeks ago with TCU winning, 75-52, at Hilton Coliseum in a dominant performance. That was the seventh in TCU's recent seven-game win streak.

The game will be televised FOX Sports Southwest with Chuck LaMendola and Janice Dziuk on the call. The game can also be heard on KTCU 88.7 FM in Fort Worth, as well as online via FrogVision, with Jeff Williams doing play-by-play. Special Events/Promotions

Last Time Out
No. 24 TCU played No. 3 Baylor even in the second half, but couldn't overcome a first-half deficit in an 83-63 loss at the Ferrell Center last Saturday night.

TCU was down by 11 points after one quarter and by 20 after two, due largely to some significant foul trouble, but played to an even score in final 20 minutes.

Jayde Woods led TCU with a career-high 14 points, including three 3-pointers. Amber Ramirez was just behind with 12 points

3-Pointers
1. TCU is unranked in both the AP and Coaches Top 25 Polls after being ranked in each of the last three weeks. It was TCU's first three-week string of being ranked in both polls since 2003-04 when the Frogs were ranked in both all season.

2. Amy Okonkwo leads TCU at 15.4 points per game. She is shooting 51.2 percent from the field and leads the Big 12 at 90.7 percent from the free throw line. Only one Big 12 player has ever finished a season with a field goal percentage above 50 percent and a free throw percentage above 90 percent.

3. TCU's 1.11 assist-turnover ratio ranks fourth in the Big 12 and would break the TCU program record. The Frogs have never finished a season with a ratio over 1.00 with the current school record being a 0.99 mark posted in 2008-09.

Scouting Iowa State
Iowa State has played just twice since the Jan. 30 meeting with TCU, winning at Kansas State (Feb. 3) and losing at home last week to Oklahoma State, 81-73. The Cyclones trailed by 26 points in the first half, but battled to within one and trailed by just three in the final minute against the Cowgirls.

Bridget Carleton leads the Cyclones at 18.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game and had 13 points against OSU. Madison Wise led the Cyclones with 21 points in the loss and was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week.

The Cyclones lead the Big 12 with 8.6 3-pointers per game, but rank sixth with a 33.4 percent mark from deep. TCU, on the other hand, leads the league at 37.3 percent from deep in Big 12 play.

The Series
TCU leads the series, 7-6, including a 7-4 mark since joining the Big 12 in 2012-13. TCU swept the season series in 2016, and the two have split every other season series. The Frogs are 4-1 against Iowa State in Fort Worth, including three straight wins.

TCU won this season's first meeting, 75-52, in Ames on January 30. Jordan Moore led the Frogs with 25 points as they cruised to the victory.

Up Next
TCU remains at home to host its annual Play4Kay game on Saturday when Kansas State visits for a 2 p.m. contest at Schollmaier Arena.
