FORT WORTH - No. 3 TCU is set to host No. 16 Oklahoma State in a three game series starting Friday night at 6:30. Saturday and Sunday's contests will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

KING OF THE HILL
Jared Janczak put together a performance for the ages on Saturday. He retired the first 22 batters he faced. The sophomore carried a no-hitter into the ninth inning before a lead-off single broke it up.

Janczak is one of eight pitchers with five wins this season. He ranks 13th nationally in WHIP (0.73) and 11th in H/9 (4.19). Since joining the starting rotation late in the 2016 season, Janczak has been a model of consistency. He has made 12 starts and boasts a 2.74 ERA with a 7-1 record. He has fanned 72 while issuing just 20 walks in 72 1/3 innings pitched.

ON THE RISE
Through the first 12 games of the season, TCU had committed 18 errors for a .964 fielding percentage. Those 18 errors led to just 10 unearned runs. Over the last seven games, TCU has committed just four errors and boasts a .985 percentage which has raised its season percentage to .971. TCU has played four errorless games in the stretch after having played just one in the first 12 games of the year.

WALK THIS WAY
TCU is third in the Big 12 and 18th nationally with 112 walks this season. The Frogs have translated free passes into runs at a high rate this season. 43 of the 112 walks have come around to score.

Luken Baker leads all hitters with 21 walks this season. He has worked multiple walks in a game six times this year. Baker is on pace to draw 60 walks this season, which would surpass the school-record of 57 set by Austen Wade in 2016 and Matt Curry in 2010.

PILING UP THE Ks
The TCU pitching staff ranks third in the Big 12 with 194 strikeouts, an average of 9.98 per nine innings. Of those 194 strikeouts, 60 of them have been of the looking variety. Ten times this season, TCU has tallied 10 or more strikeouts in a game. In the 15-inning game against Texas A&M, the Frogs fanned a school-record 26 batters.

Jared Janczak leads the team with 38 strikeouts. He tallied a career-high 14 in the win over Kansas on Saturday. Austin Boyles, Durbin Feltman, Haylen Green, Nick Lodolo, Dalton Horton and Sean Wymer all have more Ks than innings pitched.
