FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU women's basketball got a complete team effort and rolled to a 93-72 win over Texas Tech at Schollmaier Arena on Sunday. Six Frogs scored in double figures as the 93 points were the most scored by TCU in a league game in its six seasons in the Big 12.

TCU (10-5, 1-3) mixed up its starting lineup by adding Sydney Coleman and Lauren Heard for their first career starts, and the change paid off. TCU forced Texas Tech (6-9, 0-4) into 10 first-quarter turnovers and shot 12-of-18 to build a lead it would never give up.

Jordan Moore led the Frogs with 18 points and seven rebounds. Amy Okonkwowas just behind with 17 points, all in the first half, and five rebounds. Four other Frogs scored in double figures, including Heard who had 12 on 5-of-7 shooting. Coleman made her addition to the lineup pay off with eight points and career-highs of six assists and three steals.

In addition to the record-setting 93 points, the Frogs also set program Big 12 game records with 27 assists and a 60.3 field goal percentage (35-of-58). TCU added 10-of-21 from 3-point range.

Defining Moments
TCU's change in the starting lineup paid off immediately as the Frogs raced out to a 27-16 lead after the first quarter. TCU forced the Lady Raiders into 10 turnovers in that first quarter and scored 14 points off of them.

The starting lineup additions, Heard and Coleman, scored seven and six points, respectively in the first period. Coleman added three assists and three steals as the Frogs shot 12-of-18 in the opening period.

The Lady Raiders would cut the lead down to three points, 41-38, with 1:51 remaining in the first half, but the Frogs closed the half on a 7-0 run. The run was capped by Toree Thompson's 3-pointer with less than 10 seconds to go and the Frogs took a 48-38 lead into the locker room.

Texas Tech would only get as close as eight points in the second half as the Frogs featured a very balanced offensive effort over the final 20 minutes. Moore, Thompson, Kianna Ray and Amber Ramirez all scored exactly 10 points in the second half.

Stat of the Game
93 -- The Frogs' 93 points were their most ever scored in a Big 12 game. Now in their sixth season in the league, the Frogs have scored over 80 points just 10 times with two of those occurrences coming in TCU's four Big 12 games this season.

Quote of the Game
"I'm really proud that our team was able to fight for this win. They didn't let their Big 12 start get them down. They didn't drown in self-pity; they came into practice wanting to work for it. We had a real strong focus on our defense; we didn't even talk about our offense in the last two days." - Raegan Pebley
