Team needs to learn how to use the basket to prevent blocks on finishes and layups. A number of these plays in games this year would not be blocks if our players would use the basket as a blocker for them and angle their finish accordingly. For example, that OU defender shouldn't have been able to get to Williams last lay in.

Why did KW jump off he wrong leg to attempt that layup? Extra dribble allows him to dunk the ball. KW not having his best game up to this point.

Agree. He also jumped too far out off the wrong leg without taking a dribble and dunking the ball. Weird lack of finish by KW on that play.

Because Dixon does not tell him to drive it. Maybe if he pulled JD after one of those horrible bricks, he would stop shooting it?

JD needs to get back inside and bang. He does well underneath. Huge wingspan and very athletic. He can help us down low much more right now than camping out on the 3 point line.
