Didn't see the actual performance, but after reading the script online I have no idea why people are upset. Sarcasm and satire are what the LSJUMB are known for and that was a pretty good example. Not their best work, but not their worst either.

I wasn’t offended by it, I just thought it sucked ass. I’d be embarrassed if that’s what my school ran on to the field for halftime every week. Wasn’t creative, wasn’t funny, and the music sucked. Total garbage.

After the game I would just randomly yell In and Out sucks or Thats what you get for making fun of Whatabutger at Stanford fans.

They didn't think it was as funny as my booze-addled mind did.

I was sitting next to an uptight older Stanford lady at the hotel bar after the game. I asked her if the band typically goes into other stadiums and tries to insult the opponent's fans. She said they do but they never say anything thatnisnt true. That led to a heated debate about how the federal government should pay for college for everyone. She was insistent that federal dollars paid for my scholarship to TCU. After realizing she was trending toward a monumental trigger I turned away, ordered a shot of Jameson and said a little prayer that she would survive her affliction.
