DieHards: TCU CB Ranthony Texada stresses need for fast start against Oklahoma State

FORT WORTH, Texas – The No. 16 TCU Horned Frogs haven’t won on the road against Oklahoma State since joining the Big 12 Conference in 2012. Gary Patterson’s team wants to change that against the No. 6 Cowboys this weekend with a strong push out of the gate.
Coming off a 56-36 win over SMU in Week 3 – a game in which TCU once trailed 19-7 – the Horned Frogs are well aware that there will be far less margin for error against the high-flying Oklahoma State offense on the road in Week 4.
TCU senior cornerback Ranthony Texada said during the team’s mid-week press conference on Tuesday that a quick start will be critical for the Horned Frogs if they intend to improve to 4-0 on the season coming out of Stillwater.
