DieHards: TCU-Arkansas will prove whether Frogs can be contenders in 2017

When the Arkansas quarterback scored the game-winning touchdown against TCU last season, his teammates basically carried him into the end zone, pushing a horde of Horned Frog defenders out of the way.
TCU entered the season with a top-15 ranking and Big 12 title aspirations. Then the Razorbacks outlasted the Frogs 41-38 in double overtime in Fort Worth, Texas, and all of the expectations for TCU’s season were bulldozed at the goal line.
Kenny Hill wasn’t as good as advertised. The defense wasn’t up to coach Gary Patterson’s standards. A conference title and a spot in the College Football Playoff had transformed from goals into pipe dreams before the third week of the season.
