Coach Jamie Dixon and the TCU Horned Frogs men’s basketball team have added more talent to the 2018 recruiting class, as 4-star small-forward prospect Kaden Archie announced his commitment to TCU on Sunday.

Archie, a native of nearby Midlothian, Texas, is ranked as the No. 6 player in the state of Texas among the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He received 17 offers, but the decision ultimately came down to two front-runners — TCU and LSU.

Might not be 4 star for long if his commitment video works out. He seems like a sharp kid with a goal in mind. Really like this pick up.

Never in my wildest dreams could I see TCU basketball competing for recruits against the other schools that offered him.

Even just in DFW, we are a legit threat to that basketball school in Dallas.
