If you are a top recruit and you know your College coach is going to support you up to the professional level it might swing your choice. Saban was treated like Elvis there. In a previous thread someone made the point on why TCU isn’t getting the NFL level recruits.

You're right. If GP was at the Senior Bowl every year then we would've won at least 3 national championships by now. No doubt that's the deciding factor for so many high level recruits.

I’m not sure we’re losing recruits because GP isn’t accompanying guys to the Senior Bowl. Seems like a massive stretch.
