TCU alive and well in playoff hunt

Two weeks after its deflating loss at Iowa State, everything remains possible for TCU.
The Horned Frogs moved up to No. 6 in the second batch of College Football Playoff rankings, which were released Tuesday night. More importantly, they have a viable path to the four-team playoff – a notion that seemed far-fetched after their lone loss of the season.
That path includes, of course, beating Oklahoma not just once but twice. A second victory over the Sooners in a potential Big 12 title game would likely put TCU in prime position to give the league a berth in the CFP.
