I grew up down around Galveston and I along with lots of others from there absolutely HATE what he has done to that place as well as Kemah/Seabrook. I ate (grudgingly) at Landry's in Galveston during the holidays, and it was hands down the worst seafood I've had in my life. Red Lobster would have been an upgrade.... Long John Silver's probably would have been.

Yeah but he has some restaurants that are outstanding. Morton's , McCormick and Schmick, Chart House, Saltgrass,Vic & Anthony's.. are all very good.

Throw in the casinos and other outlets and he has over 600 restaurants under about 40 banners. Thats impressive.

I've done business with them and they are not a bad group to deal with.
