Ames Tribune: Cyclones facing tragedy, injuries

The Iowa State men’s basketball team is experiencing serious adversity, both on and off the floor.
Firstly, it’s dealing with tragedy after the death of senior guard Donovan Jackson’s father over the weekend.
“First and foremost, before the basketball, our thoughts and prayers are with Donovan ... and all their family up there,” ISU coach Steve Prohm said Monday. “That’s most important right now more than anything. Basketball stuff will take care of itself.”
