I would count him as a friend but totally get your observation. The scout/baseball coach/husband/dad side of him I knew was a really good dude. The Twitter/weightlifting/public persona side that has emerged more recently had a high [ profanity ] factor for sure. This incident clearly won’t help that at all. Disappointing to say the least.

Was able to attend Sunday’s GCU game. Some observations:

1. Pitching looked good especially the pen. Defense not so much.

2. Standard TOOTBLANs cost us a couple of runs

3. Lukens shot should have had a flight attendant.

4. Lots of purple but could have been the shadows. But I think TCU was 1/3 of the crowd. Definitely louder.

5. The woo birds showed up

6. Shepard claps his hands once just before he steps into the box. The crowd clapped in unison. It was awesome. Please continue at Lupton.

That’s what I’m guessing too. I’m still driving in from Houston tomorrow, though. Looking forward to a TCU sports-filled day on Saturday.

Cancel Friday

Play 3 games starting Friday afternoon and Sunday.

After we beat Baylor on Saturday, the clouds will part and the sun will shine from the heavens and we can play ball!!!

No TCU game today, but Spring Training games started today.

Some TCU-related news from them....

(Also looks like Jantzen Witte got an AB in the Twins-Sox game and flied out to CF).
