Sitting at 30-8 with 15 games left in the regular season.* Good place to be. Frogs towards starting the Big 12 tourney with very close to the same record they went in with last year. (38-14). My thinking is that Frogs neither sweep nor get swept in any series from here to the end of the regular season. Would love to see the Frogs get to 40 wins but taking 10 of 15 ain't gonna be easy with the current style of play and this year's less-than-stellar road performances.

*assuming that we only play the conclusion of the suspended ACU game.

Really nice to have a 2-game lead heading to Lubbock.

We are close to having a regional host locked up - Texas and Cal series are must wins and need to win 1 of @ TTU and @ OU. That should get us a national seed and either a regular season title or very close runner up.

St. Joseph's executed a sacrifice bunt this weekend leaving the Frogs alone in 295th place (which is last among teams that have even one sac bunt). Apparently there are four D1 teams that have not had a single sac bunt this year. Would take too much time to figure out which four those are but pretty sure they are Mosiello University, Mosiello State, Mosiello Tech, and Mosiello A&M.

No offense, but who gives a ship?

Sunday Recap:

OSU 3 Tech 1 (11): OSU wins series

OU 7 KU 6: KU takes series

KSU 11 WVU 4: KSU wins series

Texas 4 NOLA 3: Texas sweeps

Standings heading into the last weekend in April:
TCU (11-4)
Tech (9-6)
WVU (9-6)
KU (8-7)
OU (6-6)
Texas (7-8)
BU (6-9)
OSU (6-9)
KSU (4-11)

Purely looking at record, it looks like everyone but KSU has a shot to make the tournament. The conference should get 5 teams in (top three are almost locks at this point) with the possibility of a 6th. Tech, WVU and TCU all top 10 RPIs, Baylor 15, Texas, OU and OSU are top 50. KU at 69 would need some help (especially with an overall losing record)

Upcoming weekend:

TCU at Tech: top two teams square off. With both squads' ace possibly missing this weekend, hope the Frogs' bats are wide awake and the bullpen is ready to go

OU at WVU: both need a rebound after dropping a series to the Kansas schools

BU at Kansas: BU has more room for error but Kansas has to win this series our they're a long shot for selection monday

Texas at OSU: loser has a lot of work to do before selection monday, winner maintains a pulse

ACU at KSU

At what point does Sarrloos get some blame for pitching issues? He got all the credit last year deservedly so? Also when do you heat Baker back up to pitch in playoffs or do you?
