Cody Thomas was on the field before the baseball game today.

Would be a great get for the frogs. Quick release, knows where everyone should be, gets the ball out in under 3 seconds generally and often on his 3rd or 4th read. he runs through progessions very efficiently and has very good velocity on his throws.

Offers already include USC, Fla, Auburn, Arkie, Ol' Miss:

He looks great, Arkie and Auburn both have a nice depth chart to show him

Damn I hope we get Barrett

Have said it before, this is one of the deepest QB classes in Texas and not sure how you could say any of the top 4 or 5 are better the others (especially Swoopes, Barrett, Thomas & Hill). I am just glad UT can't have all of them.

He is also a big time talent on the baseball field.

I just see Barrett as a Swoops/Thomas hybrid. He can run very well and puts everything right on the money.

Whats his interest in the Frogs?

I hope we show some interest to Jordan Mastrogiavanni, a big body LB from Dallas. Good kid and a hard worker.
6'3", 230 lbs. His grandad was a great QB and is in the University of Wyoming Hall of Fame. He is getting some good looks and offers from other schools. He likes the Frogs...

That Kohl Stewart kid who verbaled to TAMU looks damn good too. However, much like Aune, he may never play football because of the diamond.

There are lots of new offers out. I love how we are hitting Georgia!

Hey Raw Frog,

Are you a JCP alum or something? Just curious how you got the scoop. From the kids who are getting offers on the team (Oliver, Gustafson, and Mastro) it looks like the team is good on paper.

No, but close. I graduated from St. Marks, and my younger brother went to Jesuit. I am good friends with Jordan's dad.

A huge UT fan and they may land both Barrett & Swoopes, but TCU right after UT in his interest. Would not make sense for UT to get those 2, but that is the way they roll.

You can look at the offers and tell LBer a huge priority as it should be. If they get their top 2 (Jones and Whitmill) that will be it and chances are good they get at least 1 of them.
