According to Rivals, Agholor is on campus now. First visit by a 5-star in some time, if ever.

Interesting about Blanks that he has no Florida schools on his top-8 list. Guess he wants to go out of state. Wonder if Ohio St. will still be on his list? If not, Fort Worth is definitely a different place than the others, but he will still be able to play on the East Coast.

I believe he has Miami in his Top 7. But still like the Frogs chances with him. Us being in the Big East is the biggest negative on his list so far, but I think it's just a case of us having to fight the SEC/ACC bias he has grown up with. If/when he gets on campus, I'm sure he'll have a great impression of the staff.

OSU football gets commitment from big Texas offensive lineman
BY BRANDON CHATMON, Staff Writer, bchatmon@opubco.com Oklahoman Leave a comment Published: June 8, 2011

STILLWATER — The foundation of explosive offenses is built with strong offensive linemen.

Oklahoma State hopes to continue the trend of strong offensive line play with the commitment of Carthage (Texas) offensive tackle Greg Brantley, according to GoPokes.com. The 6-foor-7, 310-pound offensive lineman picked the Cowboys over interest from several schools including Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, Missouri and Baylor.

Brantley informed GoPokes.com of his commitment on Tuesday evening after visiting Stillwater with his teammate Edward Pope on Sunday and Monday.

Is Pope looking around a concern?

Also - we're not hearing much on Colin Blake anymore. Has that ship sailed to Norman?

I think Pope is solid and if he didn't go for LSU I doubt he would go for OkieSt. Still a long time until Feb however.

On Blake,I think TCU is still in good shape assuming UT doesn't make a run at him and a lot depends on what Agholor does as well as Kendall Sanders. Obviously Marrs at OU will help them a lot in recruiting Blake.

Newbold picks Tech who again are putting together a solid class.

Again I say, we must have a kicker and punter in this class.

The one kicker offered, Pinion, appears to be a huge NC lean. Had posted some info on a few kickers earlier so need to re-visit and see if anything has changed. Right now with the 2 seniors backed by Ryan DeNucci and Cale Patterson, I haven't seen as few kickers around as there are now. I know a few more walk-ons will be in, but it does look thin, and no big legs.

I did a search and did not see this guys name pop up here. On ESPN it seems we have interest in Cole Leininger (or vice versa).
http://insider.espn....yer/_/id/141882

Evaluation:
"Cole is a very impressive kicker/punter. The ball jumps off his foot. He is a D1 kicker and punter, and the 2nd best combo guy in the nation behind Pinion. Cole's field goals off the ground were solid at the Kohl's Gainesville camp. He had range out to 60 yards away on his field goals. His punts consistently had 4.5-4.6 seconds of hang-time and were traveling 45-55 yards in the air. He is a great student and is strong mentally. His kickoffs need work to match the range that he has on field goals. If he can get his kickoff steps down he has the talent to move up in the rankings. He is another big time talent in a very good 2012 class. His skill set makes him a valuable specialist."

There are 3 other DFW kickers with good evals: Nick Jordan of Coppell, Nicholas Rose of HP, and Jaden Oberkrom of Arlington Martin.

Spot on as usual. Leininger might be the FL kid you are thinking of.

Pope is a guy I'm really not concerned about losing. So far he has pretty much brushed off UT and LSU (got an offer from LSU and turned down UT's Junior Day invite), and he has been gung-ho TCU ever since his first interview.

That being said, we've all speculated that Okie Lite pays recruits, so maybe they are the school I should be worried about

Not mentioned by Hamilton, but Seaver Myers was scheduled to vist TCU. Kid has really put in some work and it is paying dividends as his recruiting is taking off.
