Killer Frogs: Are Sonny-er Days Ahead?

He’s not being introduced this Tuesday. It’s just a normal PC

    Official Coaching Search Thread….

Tech wanted Sonny and he said no. They would have viewed him as the savior coming home doing what Kliff couldn’t.

    Official Coaching Search Thread….

FYI the presser on Tuesday is a normal game week one. Should change the article on page. It’s not a Sonny PC this week.

Houston Chronicle: Texas, Oklahoma reach out to SEC about joining conference

UCF could possibly overtake Miami in brand recognition within 5 years. Big school with more resources. They will be rolling.

Houston Chronicle: Texas, Oklahoma reach out to SEC about joining conference

It’s obvious who doesn’t watch games outside of TCU/SEC. UCF with $10 million more a year will be a powerhouse. They already can play with anyone and average 32k a game for attendance dating back to 2007.

Houston Chronicle: Texas, Oklahoma reach out to SEC about joining conference

tell me who’s in the Pac 12 we’d be joining. If more than 2 of USC/Washington/Oregon are out then no thank you. The Pac 12 after Utah is much worse than this Big 12 would be. On the field, the new Big 12 will probably always have more ranked teams. It needs big bowl wins that take time to...

It's official: Big 10 to postpone, attempt to restart in spring

It’s both. Not just one or the other. The lower cost of tests makes it more feasible to be able to trace everyone quicker and prevent the disastrous outcomes in their mind which then prevent lawsuits.

It's official: Big 10 to postpone, attempt to restart in spring

That’s been the question going round on college sports talk shows for the last month. Some people are more afraid of a frivolous law suit culture than others. The ones that play figured there’s going to be nothing to warrant suing over so they’re playing. I need help from the board on here in...

It's official: Big 10 to postpone, attempt to restart in spring

Costs of testing plus fears of lawyer costs due to having to defend against lawsuits. With reduced revenue coming in, it was a cost-benefit analysis

It's official: Big 10 to postpone, attempt to restart in spring

The risk was never about virus spreading 3.5 hours on Saturday. It was the cost of testing that happens 3 times a week for 150 members of the football team (coaches, staff, players, admin). The reason the Big 10 has floated talks again is because of the new developments in testing this week...

This usually starts my favorite week of the whole year

I LOVE the new traditional Week 0 FCS game that rings in college football. It starts my favorite week of the year with 8-10 games on Thursday and Friday night, a full slate of games on Saturday and then the random ACC Monday night Labor Day game. Yes Im the odd one that watches Army-Rice on...

WFAA: TCU says 69 students, 1 staff member have tested positive for COVID-19

For those who have private rooms they can “isolate in place,” and use a different bathroom. But if you share a room and with someone and communal bathroom then they’re pulling them out.

DMN: TCU sees COVID-19 cases more than double within days

The problem is running to capacity on isolation beds. They’re at 42% now. On pace to break capacity where they’ll have to shut down.

WFAA: TCU says 69 students, 1 staff member have tested positive for COVID-19

TCU sent an email that they are at 42% capacity for isolation beds. That’s the big problem. Hopefully starting next week kids that are using them, come out of isolation to free up bed space. This is going to be the big spike and don’t know if supply will meet demand at the top.

It's official: Big 10 to postpone, attempt to restart in spring

This is due to exposure. Schools find some kids get it due to symptoms then do contact tracing and test those who were around them. TCU is up to 27 cases after being at 13 coming into the week. The nature of the virus is extremely contagious but only serious for a certain segment of the...

It's official: Big 10 to postpone, attempt to restart in spring

Amen. Any University that didn’t think they’d have at minimum 500-750 cases the first few weeks out of 10-30,000 kids are fooling themselves.
