I mean won't Rogers almost assuredly need a redshirt year to continue to rehab from his injury? I believe it took Bridgewater 15 months or so to be re-activated from IR.

LT's prime NFL years were ~2004 to 2009 so most recruits in this class were under ten years old during that period. I'm sure it does have an impact, but I suspect it is not at the top of the list of things that move the needle.

Just an aggie talking head contradicting himself in separate tweets about Jimbo. Recent tweet was about how awesome the AD was for bringing in Jimbo. A tweet from about a year ago was questioning how anyone would let their kid play for Fisher as he was classless, slimey, etc.

True, but those schools have been long established as elite academically. While it wouldn't help the cream of the crop, it certainly can help up an coming schools. OTOH, the TCU model is not exactly easy to replicate.

I know this is wrong for this year but can't remember exactly why. I believe it has something to do with the fact that the Cotton Bowl can't take a G5 this year as the did recently and will have to next year or the year after. I'm sure Dirtbag will chime in soon with the exact reason.
