AMES – The Iowa State men’s basketball team has had to deal with various injuries throughout the entire season.
The Cyclones went weeks at a time without being able to practice five on five.
When Iowa State (13-13, 4-10 Big 12) plays TCU (18-9, 6-8 Big 12) on Wednesday, there is a distinct possibility the Cyclones could only have six players available.
Sophomore forward Solomon Young had knee surgery on Tuesday, point guard Nick Weiler-Babb saw a specialist in Dallas on Monday to see if they could find the root of his knee issue and Hans Brase is still recovering from knee and ankle problems.
