PALM DESERT, Calif. – TCU had its best round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Sunday and finished sixth overall.

The Horned Frogs shot 4-under 284 in the final round to finish 2-over 866 overall. TCU finished two strokes back of Kansas and one ahead of UC Riverside. No. 19 California won the tournament after shooting 47-under 817.

Junior David Ravetto played bogey-free golf Sunday and tied his career low round by shooting 5-under 67. He moved up 21 spots from Saturday to finish as the top finisher for the Frogs. Ravetto shot a season low 4-under 212 and tied for 15th place.

Competing as an individual, junior Triston Fisher tied for 25th place at 1-under 215. Junior Stefano Mazzoli finished right behind Fisher as he tied for 33rd at even-par 216.

Junior Turner MacLean had his best round of the tournament Sunday as he shot 2-under 70. He moved up 24 places to finish tied for 44th at 3-over 219.

Junior Pierre Mazier also had his best score on Sunday as he shot even-par 72. He, along with junior Hayden Springer, finished tied for 71st at 8-over 224.

Austin Eckroat (Oklahoma State), Collin Morikawa (California), Sebastian Crampton (California) and Fredrik Nilehn (Texas Tech) all tied for first place after shooting 14-under 202.

The Frogs will next compete at the Wexford Plantation Invite in Hilton Head, S.C. Feb. 26-28.
