Quick look schedule notes:
- 31 home games, 22 road games, 1 neutral game
- 26 games against 2017 NCAA Tournament teams
- Returning to Dodgertown Classic in LA
- OOC series are: Long Beach St, UCI, GCU, Minnesota, Lamar
- Big 12 home series: K-State, Tech, OU, West Virginia
- Big 12 road series: OSU, KU, Baylor, Texas

Schedule is fairly balanced. The Big 12 will be a tough league. That spring break trip to LA with a direct flight to Houston to take on Rice is tough, as is the OSU road series sandwiched by mid-week home and home with DBU.

Dodgertown Classic in 2015 was the same teams. I think we played UCLA and USC at their home fields and then Vanderbilt at Dodger Stadium.

Yeah - and the schedule seems to reflect same for 2018. If it's going to be an away game atmosphere, better to get the RPI bump for playing USC and UCLA in their home stadiums instead of all 3 at Dodger Stadium.

Looks like a strong schedule...but only one true road non conference weekend...the rpi weighs road wins more heavily...looks like CJS is counting on the big 12 for rpi help.

Last year, big12 was Number 1 rpi League...I hope it is again for this teams sake

League should be pretty stout. Both Baylor and tech were young last year, OU and WVU should improve, Texas graduated a lot but pierce looks like he’s moving them in the right direction, OSU should be competitive, and the Kansas schools can catch you sleeping

Agree we’re hanging out hat on Big 12 OR w/l record for RPI but would argue it’s basically 2 OOC road weekends - GCU + Dodger Classic (USC and UCLA are true road games, Vandy is neutral, then it’s a direct flight to Rice for another true road game).

The P/W World Series started last weekend. They also play today at 3, Saturday at 10:30 and Sunday 11:30 (I think).
I meant like the one last year that was one game the weekend before the season started and had the Meet the Frogs session right after. Will they do that again this year or are they changing things up? It might have been Grey-White, I don't remember.

I'm not sure. In the past they did an alumni game the week before. The story I heard last year was that they had a hard time getting some of the pros in so they did an intersquad game instead. They would probably do something similar this year.
