Baylor scandal sparks effort to end sexual assault statewide

“[N]o other university in the country has responded as aggressively and decisively as Baylor regarding incidents of sexual assault on our campus,” spokeswoman Lori Fogleman said in an emailed statement. “We are working alongside our legislators and sharing what we have learned from the actions we have taken to improve and strengthen our response to interpersonal violence.”

Oh Lori, that just isn't true.

Nobody has ever responded as aggressively and decisively as Baylor because nobody else has ever hidden 52 rapes by their football team.

This, and they only responded when the media firestorm on their campus reached such epic proportions that they were forced to respond.

It's one of the many things that's ridiculous about Baylor people who pat themselves on the back for their terrific response. They didn't do any of this proactively. It was only done because the outside pressure has become too great to continue to ignore it. If it wasn't for outside the lines, they most likely would not have done a single thing.

- BU would still have the old Stephenville roids distro guy running logistics instead of understudy Kaz.
- Art's son and son in law would be pimping unprecedented volumes of bruins.
- The Waco PD would have to construct a larger locked room and buy an Enron-class shredder to conceal all the mounting rape evidence from the eyes of non-Baylor-fan law enforcement and curious journalists.

And the Waco Tribune and KWTX?

Baylor tries to dismiss lawsuit alleging 52 rapes by football players
Baylor is moving to dismiss the lawsuit, filed in January, on a two-year statute of limitations
by Ben Kercheval

Baylor is officially fighting back on a Title IX lawsuit alleging 52 acts of rape by 31 football players.

According to the Waco Tribune, Baylor has moved to dismiss the lawsuit, filed in January , which also alleges girls in the hostess program, the Baylor Bruins, were expected to have sex with recruits.

The university is doing this on two primary grounds. The first is the that the plaintiff’s allegations now violate a two-year statute of limitations. The second is that Baylor doesn’t feel the allegations are examples of “deliberate indifference.”

So basically, baylor's claim that they are doing their "Christian" duty, in their weak minds, is based on getting off the hook on a legal tech, never really owning up for the cover-up and continuing to further victimize the victims.

They really are the scumbags everyone thinks they are.

There are no men at that crap camp.

Apparently, those 'ladies' at Baylor elevated the art of being a good hostess to

a whole new level. The capacity of being cordial and welcoming are normally

governed by certain implicit limitations.
